I just found this game and have to say that I really enjoy it! One thing that could be improved in my opinion would be the scale. As it is, I have to zoom out to 80% just to have the full slot on screen and then I need to scroll down to see the Pokedex. This isn't a big problem, but I'm curious to see what it'd look like to have the Pokedex next to the slots. This was a really original idea and I look forward to seeing you add to it eventually!
it's a fun game but I'm a bit lost as to how to unlock mega evolutions - I've got dozens of pokemon at max mastery and picking them up again doesn't seem to trigger anything. Also I don't get how to access the ruins - according to info about pokemon silver gold I think I know which pokemon is required, and there might tbe a need to double click somewhere as it's mentionned as an action that can trigger hidden interactions, but it seems i don't get what I'm supposed to do for the late game.
I think if there could be some other milestones to give a sense of progress between the filling up of the normal and shiny dex and finding late content like mega evolutions that'd be neat.
Sorry for the delay, and thanks for the feedback! I would like to try to figure out what's going on with your game so that if I need to roll out a fix, I can do that.
For mega evolutions --- you should have an option from the dex to mega evolve when you reach mastery (catching 30 of the same species). There should be three buttons (aside from close) --- Buddy, Party, and Mega Evolve (100 coins).
Once you trigger the mega evolution, it should start a 60 second period of automatically spinning, and both the slot and the environment have some animations that only happen while a mega is active.
If you are not seeing the mega evolution button, or if it isn't populating after mastery, I will have to look in to that, just let me know.
To access the ruins, try clicking the unown pokedex entry, and quickly tapping the icon 3X. Let me know if it works for you. Also, try visiting pallet town again and quickly tapping on the town name at the top --- curious to know if that works for you, as well.

Does who you have in your party effect anything? Also, is there a way to remove a pokemon from your party intentionally, so you don't have to cycle through re-adding everyone if the new pokemon accidentally bumps one you wanted in there?

Love the cute game! How do the party mechanics work in battles? And I would love a way to easily view and modify the party composition.

Will there be any chance of a desktop version for offline play?
For what it's worth - it's already downloadable in the Itch App, just like any other web game on Itch.
